The story behind the artwork:

A digital collage map of London focusing on the Royal London, with references such as the crown and jewellery. This modern wall art also features the animals that were kept in the Royal Menagerie in Tower of London. The artwork depicts the industrial London with references, with buildings made out of tools and industrial iron particles, the measuring tapes and iron, alongside the famous London markets and all of this which makes up the working heart of the great city of London.

Growing up in Iceland, where there are very few tall buildings, the impact the London skyline had on Kristjana was massive. She is truly inspired by this great city, and working on London themed artwork is a passion of hers.
