Eye Brook Reservoir, located on the border between Leicestershire and Rutland, is renowned for its picturesque landscapes and rich history. Constructed between 1937 and 1940, it was originally built to supply water to the Corby steel works. During World War II, it served as a practice site for the Dambuster raids, standing in for the Möhne Reservoir. Today, it is a popular spot for birdwatching, attracting various species, including wigeon, teal, mallard, and pochard.
