Tea In The Palace,
Two architecturally strong pieces, inspired by the Renaissance palaces of Rome as well as London's own historically iconic Victoria and Albert museum. Kristjana has created an immersive sense of depth, using plates collected by John Barrington, and imbibed them with rich and vivid eye-popping colour. Upon this dramatic backdrop, compositional elements inspired by the world renowned London designer Paul Smith, plus nods to English curiosities and industry, such as the fox coming for tea and the rabbit with teacups. A feast for the eyes and imagination particularly when hung as a pair.
