“For a long time I have worked artistically to get in touch with and get an understanding of the concept of nature and its image. Therefore, I wanted to make a series of utensils in which the fruit Ackee served as a model and gave the series its name. Ackee is an apple-like fruit but is highly toxic if not ripe.
