This was a wonderful process of adding colour and detail in the right way at the right time to create a strong,reflective pose of a powerful and wise woman. I have a sense of the day coming to an end. It’s that magical time when the sun sets and gives off that spectacular glow –making everything feel and look otherworldly. The figure is in the moment; she has a huge sense of purpose but is equally lost within a quietness that she embraces fully.
