The story behind the artwork:

Circular wall art print of the great city of London, designed in early 2018. The art print has iconic buildings from this great city and Kristjana brings it to life with colourful foliage and fantastical animals.

Growing up in Iceland, where there are very few tall buildings, the impact the London skyline had on Kristjana was massive. She is truly inspired by this great city, and working on London themed artwork is a passion of hers.

Nature has always been really important to Kristjana. The Icelandic nature is really harsh and unforgiving, it is very stark with lots of blacks, whites and greys. The colourful flora and fauna in other parts of the world is a great inspiration, and Kristjana enjoys playing with colours in her work, the colours in the nature elements bring a piece to life.
