This stunning black and white shaded piece is a study created to celebrate the iconic movie of the same title. Starring a very young Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, the movie has achieved cult status over the years and regular JJ Adams fans and collectors will love the numerous hidden references in the artwork that make this a truly special release.

These very exclusive artworks are highly-collectable variants of the standard 95 "Romeo and Juliet" editions. Using the same base artwork, they have been framed in a large double slip moulding, with a swept and embossed, antique black outer rim that creates a very grand effect and suits the artwork to create a very special piece.

On both versions below (The Pink & the Blue), the front of the glass of the artworks have been delicately hand screen-printed with the bright visual effects, including a light reactive (glow in the dark) ink that will produce a soft & subtle "glow" across the artwork once the lights go out..... Fans of the movie itself will appreciate the relevance to the Cross itself, due to the final scene in the movie.
