A beautiful original released as part of the 'Haru' Collection for Kealey's 2024 spring collection. Haru is the traditional translation for Spring.
Like other seasonal words, the kanji for spring, 春 Haru, is a combination of Japanese characters. The first is the character "Sun" or"Day" 日 and the second is a combination of the kanji for plants艸 and the phonetic 屯 meaning 'To Sprout'. In other words, Under the Sun of Spring, The Plants Begin to Sprout and Grow.
With each hand-painted title proving to be completely unique, the three-dimensional tiles are mounted to a matt black backing and double framed in black over exploit the fine details found in each piece.Due to the delicate nature of Kealey’s work, deliveries can take longer and on some occasions, incur a delivery charge.
