WOODLAND PATH

 Enchanting and mysterious. Using rich tones with glistening highlights a forest was created, inviting the viewer to walk through the woodland path. Silhuettes, shadows and highlights accentuate the backdrop of a sun dappled woodland, teaming with wildlife roaming freely. A proud stag stands tall near the entrance of the path, alert and regal looking directly forwards. The sky is stippled with dense canopies of the treetops where gentle leaves sway and branches reach and curl. The jewel toned oil paints lend themselves well to this layered and silhouetted piece, offering depth to the landscape with an enchanting prisma of colours, deepening to suit the richness of the forest.
