In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after a fantastic 70 years of service!

I n her statement, the monarch says she is looking forward to her Platinum Jubilee this year with "a sense of hope and optimism", and is reminded of "how much we can be thankful for".

She adds that the last seven decades have seen "extraordinary progress socially, technologically and culturally", and that she is confident the future will offer "similar opportunities".
